Marlboro reached out to Oncall Interactive to create software for their handheld devices. Ambassadors for the brand go to bars and offer free product in return for completing the surveys.

Since the only way to navigate through the devices was by touch, I created an on-screen keyboard to be used for filling out the survey and navigation. Each survey was stored locally in the device until the end of the day when all the information was written to an XML file that could be downloaded. The software gave each device a unique identifier that could be matched to the ambassador. This would link the surveys on export to the locations visited. I also created a signature field that would save each users signature to a folder and the filename would be written to the XML file along with their information.
